Towering above the Central Florida landscape is a monument to the region's agriculture history. If you're looking for fun things to do in Orlando, the Citrus Tower will give you sky-high views of the area. Built as a tribute to the region's citrus industry, visitors can climb to the top and see the sprawling landscape for miles on end.

For just $10, visitors can take an elevator 22 stories up to the tower's observation deck. There, you will be dropped off in a large room with windows on all sides and descriptions telling you what you can see from the deck.

If you look north, you can see Lake Apopka, Sugarloaf Mountain, and citrus trees that are still standing in the region.

If you look to the south, you can spot Walt Disney World and the multitude of lakes that give Lake County its name.

Looking east, you can see the skyline of Downtown Orlando. On a clear day, you can even see all the way out to the Atlantic Ocean.

The westward view will give you lofty sights of the rolling hills that surround the Citrus Tower.

The tower was built in 1956 and was one of the first attractions in Florida.

Originally, the Citrus Tower was supposed to be a smaller 75-foot tower, but it was eventually built to 226 feet or 22 stories.

You can even check out the game room and gift shop at the base of the tower before taking your ride to the top.

For sky-high sights and a different perspective for Central Florida, climb to the peak of Citrus Tower and enjoy the view.
