The birds are chirping, the snow is melting and the trees are budding, which means you can now get a spring-inspired Tim Hortons Mini Egg Donut, but only for a limited time.

The Dream Donut is dipped in white fondant and decorated with spring-coloured sprinkles and a nest of Cadbury Mini Eggs.

It's only offered for a few weeks every spring, so you'll have to wait until 2022 for a taste if you don't get your hands on one this year.

You can get it for $1.99 at participating Tim Hortons locations across Canada until April 6, or while supplies last.

This donut is actually different than the one that was offered last year, which had a white glaze topped with a dollop of pink frosting and a couple of mini eggs around the edges.
