A Giant Vincent Van Gogh Head Is Invading Toronto's Sky & Here's Where You Can Find It

Now that's something worth painting!

Lead Writer, Travel

If you happen to look into the Toronto sky this week and see a massive Van Gogh head looking back at you, don't worry, you're not imagining things.

In celebration of the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit's reopening, a 91-foot high hot air balloon shaped like the artist's head will be floating above the city's waterfront starting July 28.

The balloon is a replica of Van Gogh's 1887 painting "Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat," and even the brush strokes have been reproduced on this massive floating piece of art.

You can discover the flying Van Gogh at Yonge Street and Queens Quay on July 28, 31, and August 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. depending on the weather.

The enormous balloon has appeared in festivals around the world and will now be drifting its way into the 6ix, so why not 'Gogh' and check it out?
