You can see to the bottom of the lake!
An Ontario Airbnb Made From Shipping Containers Has A Private Lake & 140 Acres Of Forest

If you desperately need to unplug and unwind, we’ve found what might be the perfect spot. This octagon-shaped Ontario Airbnb is made entirely of shipping containers and it’s unbelievably cute. Situated on a private crystal clear lake, this is the peaceful summer paradise we all need right now.

Narcity may receive a portion of sales if you purchase something from this article, which was created independently by Narcity's editorial team just for you.

Located in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, under two hours' drive from Toronto, the luxury shipping container's interior was designed by HGTV star Rebecca Purdy.

It features three bedrooms with five beds in total and one bathroom.

This means you can have up to six guests at once.

There’s also a sauna, and the sweetest little outdoor kitchen hut with a BBQ, smoker, and unbeatable views of the lake.

There’s no denying the interior of this rental is charming beyond belief, but with so much to do just outside the front door, we don’t imagine you’ll be spending much time inside.

You’ll find excellent hiking, boating, and fishing opportunities on the 140-acre property.

And of course, you’ll want to take a dip in the crystal clear water out front. You can seriously see all the way to the bottom.

So if you’re ready to leave the electronics behind and breathe in the fresh forest air, why not check this spot out?

Airbnb

The shipping container is currently listed at $350 per night, but, thankfully, the price doesn’t change when there are six guests.

So, if you can get the whole squad in, each of you would pay roughly $58 per night.

It’s worth noting, however, that there is a seven-night booking minimum. But, by the looks of this oasis, you’ll want to stay for the whole month.

Airbnb

It might come as no surprise, but this little gem has won multiple awards, too, including one from Ontario Sustainable Energy Association.

So, while you will certainly find modern comforts here, there's a strong focus on energy conservation.

Airbnb

As the Airbnb post suggests, “if you can’t live without a hairdryer, iron, clothes dryer, oven, dishwasher and microwave, this place is not for you.”

Now, all that's left to do is rally your BFFs and get ready for a totally tranquil summer getaway.
