A couple of big-name celebrities will be in Toronto this week.

From the queen of pop bringing her tour to Canada to a stand-up comedy tour by a Hollywood star, there are a few scheduled events happening in the city that you won't want to miss.

Here's which celebrities will be in Toronto and where you can go to see them.

Madonna

Madonna kicked off her Celebration Tour, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of her debut album, in late 2023 and her next two stops are this week in Toronto.

The pop icon will be performing at Scotiabank Arena on January 11 and 12.

If you're interested in seeing the "Like a Prayer" singer tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.

Toronto isn't Madonna's only Canadian stop, she'll be heading to Montreal's Bell Centre on January 18 and 20.

She is scheduled to wrap up her tour in Mexico in April 2024.

Chris Tucker

Actor and comedian Chris Tucker is on his first major tour in North America since 2011.

The Legend Tour is a stand-up comedy tour which kicked off in 2023.

"I started my career doing stand-up in comedy clubs and it’s stand-up comedy that prepared me for all of my movie roles. I’m looking forward to getting back to my roots," Chris Tucker told Live Nation.

"I love performing live, there’s nothing like the energy of a live crowd and making people laugh. I’m excited to be back out on tour."

Tucker's only Canadian stop in 2024 is on January 9 at Toronto's Meridian Hall.

Unfortunately tickets are sold out on Ticketmaster, but you may still be able to spot the Rush Hour actor around the city before or after the show.
