A GTA McDonald's Just Shut Down Because 2 Employees May Have COVID-19

One popular establishment has closed its doors. Two possible COVID-19 cases in McDonald's at Richmond Hill have been reported. 

The location at 420 Hwy. 7, east of Valleymeade Drive closed on Tuesday for a deep clean, CP24 reports.

All crew members who may have been in close contact with the employees have been asked to self-quarantine.

All employees who were in contact with those who may have COVID-19 are now being told to self-quarantine. 

It is also asking those who visited between September 9 and 11 to follow protocols and monitor themselves for symptoms.

This isn't the first time a McDonald's has had to close. Last month, another Toronto area location shut down for the same reason.
