The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is hiring people who know foreign languages to work as analysts.

With these government of Canada jobs, you can earn up to $120,000 a year!

The Foreign Language Communications Analyst position requires you to translate one or more foreign languages into English or French.

CSIS is currently looking for people who are proficient in at least one of these languages:

  • Arabic
  • Mandarin
  • Russian
  • Punjabi
  • Urdu
  • Hindi

These CSIS jobs are expected to be located at the regional offices in Toronto and Montreal.

The salary for Foreign Language Communications Analysts is between $99,392 and $120,917 a year.

If you want to apply, you must be a Canadian citizen and have an undergraduate degree from an institution recognized in Canada.

Two years of experience in research, analysis and report writing is required.

Also, you need experience using computer applications, tools and systems, experience using social media apps, experience working in a team, and proficiency in one of the required foreign languages.

You must be able to complete the Foreign Language Communications Analyst Training Course in Ottawa and receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance.
