If the President of the United States and his wife can get COVID-19, you can get COVID-19.

The news came early Friday when Trump took to Twitter to announce the positive results.

"Tonight, [FLOTUS] and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!" wrote Trump.

At 74 years old, Trump falls into a high-risk category for those who contract the disease.

He has cancelled all of the public events he has planned.

According to the CDC, the United States has recorded 7,213,419 cases of COVID-19 so far.
