No matter who you are, Doug Ford has vowed to protect you.

In a press conference on Friday, the premier stated that his job was to make sure everyone, including anti-maskers, is protected from COVID-19.

The move comes as Ontario continues to see a rise of anti-mask movements across the province.

You know folks, we're here to make sure we protect every single person in this province, even the anti-masker folks. Doug Ford

The premier mentioned that no matter what your beliefs are, it's his job to make sure you and your family are safe.

"We are going to be there to make sure we support the health and safety of every single person in this province, no matter if you are an anti-vaxxer or an anti-masker, I'm still there, I'm going to protect you," Ford stated in the conference.

"Because I have to protect you, I have to protect your family," Ford continued.

"Maybe your elderly grandparents don't agree with what you're doing and god forbid they get this terrible virus."

"We are all in this together," Ford concluded.

The statement comes on the same day that Ontario also announced new cities will be moving into the province's red and orange zones on Monday.
