If you think you see an Eglinton LRT vehicle passing by, no need to pinch yourself because you aren't dreaming.

The long-awaited subway line is finally in testing and the vehicles are being spotted out and about.

According to Metrolinx, some of its light rail vehicles have been moved out of storage and brought to Rosemount drive.

Between now and December, these vehicles will be travelling between the Science Centre Station and Kennedy Station for some test runs.

Considering the line has been postponed multiple times, some Toronto residents seemed to be stoked to finally see the cars on the road.

One Twitter user even stated, "It's FINALLY HAPPENING."

Currently, Metrolinx is reporting that the Crosstown will open sometime in 2022 with 25 stations along Eglinton Avenue.

When the project is complete, it will connect to 54 bus routes, three subway lines and GO lines.
