No need to pack your swimsuit for a trip to this Toronto beach. The swimming destination was recently named one of the best in the world, but not for the reason you might expect.

On February 8, 2024, Nude Beach Map revealed the "Top 10 Urban Nude Beaches Around the Globe" and this Toronto spot came in at number 5 on the list.

Beaches around the world were scored based on their Nude Beach Map reviews combined with Google ratings. Higher scores were given to beaches closer to city centres.

Hanlan's Point Beach in Toronto was one of two Canadian locations featured on the list, with the other being Wreck Beach in Vancouver, which claimed the top spot.

Hanlan's Point Beach is located in the Toronto Islands and can be reached by ferry. The clothing-optional destination typically achieves annual blue flag certification and is known for its gorgeous sunsets.

"With city skyline views in the background and crowds of eager locals hitting the sand – there is no mistaking this beach is right in the middle of one of the most densely populated regions on in North America," Nude Beach Map stated.

If you're already planning those summer outings, you may want to add out this top-rated beach to your plans.
