Starting tomorrow at 12:01 a.m. all residents will need to wear a mask while shopping, at work or on public transit.

We will be bringing in more public health restrictions to try and stop this virus from spreading any further.

Premier Doug Ford

Tighter restrictions will also be implemented in Ottawa, Peel, and Toronto due to their high rates of cases.

Indoor capacities will be limited at restaurants, bars, and other food-and-drink establishments.

Restaurants will no longer be able to sit more than six people per table, while fitness classes can't have groups larger than 10.

"With Ontario's recent alarming growth in the number of COVID-19 cases, our government is taking further action to help stop the spread of the virus and avoid future lockdowns," said Health Minister Christine Elliott.
