You Can Frolic Through Summer Apple Orchards At This Dreamy Toronto-Area Farm

This place is sweet as pie!

An apple a day keeps the boredom at bay. If you’re looking for a charming Ontario apple orchard to frolic in this summer, we’ve got just the thing. Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm is re-oping this July and it’s sure to be blooming with good times.

Located just outside of Toronto in Milton, Ont., this gorgeous farm and apple orchard has been enjoyed by Ontarians for over 50 years.

Narcity reached out to learn more about their plans for the 2020 season. As Lela Colangelo, VP Sales and Marketing for Chudleigh's Brand, explains, safety is the top priority.*

“This year, we are planning to open July 1, 2020. The safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority and we are working diligently to come up with a plan to safely open our farm this season,” Colangelo explains.

“We are very fortunate to have a lot of space on our farm, this will make social distancing more manageable for our guests.”

Even though apple season is still a few months away, Colangelo says the farm remains optimistic about the return of pick-your-own-apples.

A number of brand new services will soon be launched as well, including a cute new cafe.

According to Colangelo, the orchards at Chudleigh’s are shaping up to be as lush as ever in 2020.

“When the apple blossoms are first starting to grow, the cold weather at night can damage the blossoms if it gets too cold. Although we've had a cold streak, the upcoming warm weather will bring our orchard to a full bloom at the end of May.”

But, if you can't wait until July for some fruity treats, don't worry.

A totally revamped website and an online store that offers curbside pickup will be launched in the coming weeks.

That way, you can score some mouthwatering frozen desserts and pantry staples.

Do we smell an apple pie cooking?

Chudleigh’s also has plans to open a new cafe in Milton this year, which will be called The Blossom Cafe.

So if that sounds pretty sweet to you, be sure to keep your eyes peeled to the farm’s social media accounts.

You could be picking apples with bae sooner than you think.
