Ontario DriveTest Centres Are Reopening & You Can Finally Take Your G2 Next Week

Drivers, start your engines! You will finally be able to take your G2 road tests now that Ontario DriveTest Centres are reopening. 

Starting August 4, 42 of the 56 centres across the province will be opening their doors for driving tests.

We have temporarily extended the expiration date of all driver's licences, so we would ask that everyone hold off on visiting a DriveTest centre unless absolutely necessary.

However, you don't have to rush to schedule your road test just yet. Driver's license expirations have been extended, so you should only go to the centre if "absolutely necessary."

To limit overcrowding, those born from January to June will go in one week, while those born July to December the next week. You can find these dates posted on their website

DriveTest requires you to wear face coverings during road tests as well as in their centres.
