Whoever is in charge of highway clean up has a sticky situation on their hands today after an Ontario semi-truck spilled hundreds of beer cans all over Highway 3.

The Ontario Provincial Police West Region said the incident occurred today in the westbound lane of Highway 3 at EC Row Parkway.

Lanes are currently reduced for the cleanup effort, which will apparently take several hours.

Users on Twitter were quick to reply and offer their clean-up services.

"I’ll have this cleaned up in no time," wrote one user.

"It’s five o’clock somewhere," said another.

OPP West Region has been kept busy on Ontario highways as of late.

Earlier this month, they stopped an inebriated driver flying down Highway 401 without a wheel.
