Most of the cases are young adults.

After a slight jump the previous day, Ontario's COVID-19 cases dropped back down again, with fewer than 150 new ones being reported in the last 24 hours.

Ontario's Health Minister, Christine Elliott, confirmed in a tweet that there were 138 new cases across the province, marking a 0.4 percent increase in the overall total.

She also noted that a new testing milestone had been reached in Ontario, with today's count of 29,904 bumping the province's total up to 2 million completed tests.

Elliott added that out of Ontario's 34 public health units, 27 were reporting five cases or fewer, with 16 of them reporting none at all.

A majority of the new cases were in people under the age of 40, appearing to continue the trend of more young adults being diagnosed with COVID-19, although Elliott also mentioned that hospitalizations, ICU admissions, and vented patients had decreased.
