Whether you love pinning DIY crafts to your board or simply love the idea of working for one of the most popular social media platforms out there, you'll be happy to know that Pinterest has big plans for its Toronto workforce.

The company has announced that it will be opening a new office location in downtown Toronto and is set to hire over 50 new employees in their engineering, sales, insights and marketing departments.

Pinterest has claimed three floors at 85 Richmond St. West near Nathan Phillips Square, and the next few months will be spent transforming the 50,000-square-foot office into a collaborative and inclusive space, the company told Narcity in an email.

"Scaling our Toronto office is a top priority for us this year, including the new addition of an engineering team," said Erin Elofson, the head of Canada and Asia-Pacific, to Narcity. "We're thrilled to find an exciting new office that we'll creatively build into a space that inspires our expanding team to collaborate and enjoy their work."

There are a number of open positions to apply for at Pinterest right now, including product analyst, account manager, recruiting coordinator, and many more. The company also boasts some pretty unique benefits.

The Pinterest team will move into their swanky new Toronto space next spring, and this venture is the most growth that the company has done in Canada since 2018.
