North Bay, Sudbury and Burlington were also mentioned.

As fall approaches, pest control company Orkin Canada is releasing tips to prevent unwanted infestations at home.

Some include trimming trees and shrubs near your home to eliminate hiding spots that the critters might find.

Cutting off their water supply is another big one, so make sure to deal with any clogged gutters or water sitting at the bottom of your trash pile.

Keeping food sealed in containers also helps to prevent rodents from chewing through to it.

Cleaning up crumbs and spills are other small but effective ways to ensure than you don't attract any unwanted roommates.
