One hour from Toronto, you can explore the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail inside Island Lake Conservation Area.

The 8.3-kilometre loop path takes around two hours as it goes around the lake and will lead you to non-stop breathtaking natural landscapes like a forest, meadow and wetland.

But the best part is the stunning views from the long boardwalk that brings you right over the sparkling water.

Before you return to your car, you'll also get to visit multiple lookout points so you can soak in all the picturesque views.
