Have you ever had avocado-flavoured ice cream? How about an olive oil frozen treat? Do you want to? If you're looking to broaden your dessert horizons, this Toronto ice cream shop’s unique flavours will have you coming back for more.

Bang Bang Ice Cream, located at 93 Ozzington Avenue in the city, is well-known in the ice cream universe.

The shop has gained worldwide acclaim by offering some of Toronto’s most out-there ice cream flavours, including beer and brown bread, burnt toffee, avocado, and olive oil.

While we haven’t tried them all ourselves, we sure are curious!

Savoury flavours aside, they also offer some sweet unique options for the less brave of heart.

Twists like lychee rosewater, cinnamon toast, or fig and chevre might be better options for those who are still looking for a sweet treat.

All flavours are available in the form of an ice cream sandwich, and you can even upgrade to sandwich it in between cinnamon rolls or eclairs! Queue: drooling.

Bang Bang Ice Cream also has a sister store, Bakerbots Baking, located at 205 Delaware Ave, where you can not only get the signature ice cream, but also an array of mouthwatering baked goods.

The shop will be celebrating its 10th anniversary next year, as it opened its doors in 2011. We just wonder what flavours they’ll be coming up with to commemorate the milestone!

One thing to note before you head out on your ice cream journey: Bang Bang does not take cash!

So, pack that debit or credit with you before you head out the door.

There's good news for those with dietary restrictions, too, as Bang Bang offers vegan and gluten-free options.

Bang Bang is closed on Mondays but is open to at least 8 p.m. every other night of the week.

They don’t open 'til the afternoons, so you don’t need to wake up early to skip the line.

So if you're bored of the same old vanilla or chocolate, why not try something new this summer?
