A Toronto COVID-19 vaccine website launched today and will now help you book your appointment.

Vaccineto.ca will now help those who are currently eligible for a vaccine to either book their appointment online or over the phone.

According to Unity Health Toronto, the website was created by a group of Toronto hospitals and Ontario Health Teams as a "central place" to support those who are part of phase one of Ontario's distribution plan

Residents who currently qualify are those 80 years of age and older, health care workers, indigenous adults and adults receiving on-going home care.

You'll be able to view the clinics closest to you and get information on how you can book your appointment on the website. People from priority groups can also access the pre-registration or appointment booking system by calling 1-888-385-1910.

“We know seniors 80 years and older have been waiting for this moment and we are so thrilled this tool will help them book their vaccination appointment, close to home,” said Dr. Tim Rutledge, President and CEO of Unity Health Toronto.

Eligible individuals should also only sign up at one vaccination clinic site, as making multiple bookings could result in cancellation.

In a press conference on Monday, Matthew Pegg, General Manager of the Office of Emergency Management, clarified that this hospital-run website will not replace the Ontario booking system that is set to go live on March 15.
