Hold the presses, everyone, because the city just got some new unofficial mascots: Toronto segway man and his rescued raccoon.

On Tuesday evening, Toronto resident Colin Whyte spotted a man on a segway attempting to rescue a raccoon from a busy road near Dundas and Keele.

Whyte filmed the encounter and posted it to his social media channels.

The man can be seen scooting off into the distance, holding the raccoon by the scruff of its neck. What a beautiful couple.

We truly cannot stop replaying this video and are just waiting on the city to deem these two our new mascots.

Raccoons just can't seem to keep themselves out of the news in Toronto.

Just a few days ago, a Toronto trash panda was spotted clocking in for his shift at a downtown Tim Hortons.
