Toronto Is Set To Be Covered In Snow When You Wake Up On Christmas Morning

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas... 🎵 ❄️

You don't have to dream about a white Christmas any longer because it looks like it's on its way.

Toronto's Christmas morning weather forecast is predicting that the city will be covered in 15 centimetres of snow by the time you wake up to open those gifts.

Most of the snow is set to fall overnight on Christmas Eve, according to The Weather Network.

We are still expecting a good amount of rain for Thursday afternoon, which will eventually give way to the snow.

They are warning of freezing rain during the transition from rain to snow, possibly making for poor travel conditions.

But by mid-evening Thursday, the rain should be nowhere in sight, and snow is set to be falling on the city.

If more than 15 centimetres are set to fall, TWN has said it will issue a snowfall warning with additional information, so stay tuned!

Last week, it was thought that Toronto would see freezing rain on Christmas Day — so this is definitely an upgrade.

Happy holidays Toronto, and enjoy the snow!
