We could still pull off a white Christmas. However, confidence in that happening is quite low. The Weather Network

A light downpour will set on December 23 before an approaching cold front arrives on Christmas Eve.

The freezing temperatures will bring flurries which means we'll see a bit of snow just before the big day.

However, weather experts warn that southern Ontario's chances of pulling off a picturesque Christmas this year are "quite low."

So, it looks like it's going to take a holiday miracle or a whole lot of yuletide magic to bring us our dream-like Noel.

According to the 14-day Toronto forecast, temperatures could feel as chilly as -11 C by December 25.

Milder weather is expected to return back to the Golden Horseshoe after Boxing Day.
