Don't expect a smiley greeting when stopping by this coffee shop. You can pick up your morning cup of joe without interacting with anyone at this unique spot. Toronto's robotic cafe has just opened, and you can enjoy coffee like you're in the future.

You don't need to bring change along for the tip jar at this new venue.

A barista-less cafe has just opened in the city, and you can order your coffee without stepping inside.

RC Coffee is an electronic kiosk that serves premium coffee in a convenient, innovative way.

You can place your order through the screen on the kiosk, or through the app for a completely contactless experience.

All you need to do is scan your QR code at the pickup station and the coffee will emerge just like magic.

The machine allows you to customize your coffee order, and you can choose from all sorts of drinks like espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and more.

The robotic barista then creates your drink. The kiosk is open 24/7, making it a convenient way to enjoy a drink no matter what hour it is.

"The world has recently changed dramatically, and the barista to customer interaction is somewhat risky despite people’s best efforts to maintain a safe environment," reads the RC Coffee website.

"Furthermore, the days of lounging in the café comfortably as your home away from home are on hold indefinitely."

You can find the first and only location so far in Yorkville. The automated service has partnered with Dark Horse Coffee to bring visitors the specialty drinks.

According to the website, more locations are expected to hit the GTA soon.

This isn't the first automated food service to arrive in Toronto. Last year, cake vending machines popped up around the city, with more opening soon.
