VIA Rail offers trips from Toronto to the enchanting town of Gananoque and it's a magical summer vacay spot.

The village is located in the picturesque 1000 Islands on the shores of the St. Lawrence River.

With roots going back to the 1700s, Gananoque is full of historic charm and European vibes.

There's lots to enjoy during the summer months, from catching a show at the Thousand Islands Playhouse to to indulging in a meal at the colourful Purple House Café.
