Summer heat is making itself comfortable in Ontario for the next little while. With patio season underway and public pools reopening, it looks like we have everything we need to enjoy the sunny weather in Toronto. However, it's really going to heat up over the next two weeks, so get ready — we're talking 38 C humidity here.
According to The Weather Network, daytime highs will reach a minimum of 26 C over the next 14 days, feeling closer to 32 C with the Humidex.
Most days will feel significantly warmer, though, with humidity values of 38 C in Toronto throughout the week.
July 6 to July 12 will get the worst of it, with scorching sun feeling like the mid-thirties.
Surrounding cities like Mississauga and Brampton will actually feel slightly hotter, climbing to 39 C at the start of next week from July 6 to 8.
Residents of the GTA aren't the only ones who will feel the burn.
According to The Weather Network's 14-day forecast for Windsor, next week will kick off with a scorching 40 C and hover at 36 C or warmer for the rest of the week.
So it's safe to say that the majority of southern Ontario is going to be a scorcher.
But this province isn't the only one that'll experience extreme heat.
Manitoba comes first this week, welcoming in the hot month of July with temperatures up to 40 C.
This week alone, Ontario's weather is actually going to be so hot and dry that the province faces a heightened risk of wildfires.
