Your favourite team is coming back and it will be just in time for Christmas.

Since Fred VanVleet has re-signed, fans have been wondering when will the Toronto Raptors first game be?

You don't need to wait any longer as Kyle Lowry and the boys will be hitting the court on December 23 for a face-off against the Pelicans.

The exciting news was dropped via the Raptors' Twitter account on Friday.

The team will then set their sights on a Boxing Day bout against the Spurs.

They will be closing out their first five games on January 2nd with another match against New Orleans.

Sadly, Toronto fans won't have the pleasure of seeing their team return to Scotiabank Arena this month.

The team is currently bubbling in Tampa Bay, where they will remain for the beginning of the season due to ongoing border restrictions.
