A lucky somebody is hanging on to a $6 million Lotto 6/49 Jackpot ticket in Niagara and is about to become the region's newest multi-millionaire.

The winning ticket was sold in Niagara from the July 24 draw this last Saturday, and the second prize of $214,230.20 was won by an online ticket purchased from the OLG website.

If you didn't win the $6 million, you still might have won big. Ontario also saw ten out of the twenty additional guaranteed prizes of $10,000.

Three $10,000 prizes were won in Simcoe County, two in the Niagara region, and single winners were found in Barrie, Toronto, Kitchener, Greater Sudbury and Huron County.

If you weren't as fortunate as the winners from this weekend's draw, you can try again on Wednesday for Lotto 6/49 next draw with an estimated $5 million jackpot and an additional $1 million guaranteed prize draw.
