Forty-one-year-old veteran Jansen Ng from East Gwillimbury had his entire world shifted after winning the $65 million jackpot from the Lotto Max draw on July 6.

The occasional player said he decided to pick up a Lotto Max Quick Pick ticket at a local gas station while playing Pokémon Go.

Ng said that he bought the ticket with a minute and a half to go in the draw. "When it's your time, it's your time," he said.

What will he do with the money?

This influx of cash is not only a win for Ng but also for the multiple charities he plans on supporting with his newfound riches.

One issue close to Ng is supporting veterans. When Ng was in the military, he received a head injury that drastically impacted his life and almost left him unhoused, according to OLG.

"At one point, I was almost homeless because I didn't know how to deal with my injury. I was struggling with making decisions and some of the things I did were strange and irrational, but I kept the true cause hidden from the people around me."

"I hope to help some who are struggling as I did without having to face more personal hardships."

Along with charitable donations and plans to set up multiple foundations and non-for-profits, Ng plans on buying himself a new electric car.

However, Ng says he has no intention of changing who he is. "I'm still going to be the guy who donates blood every two months and cuts his own hair."
