One married couple simply could not believe their luck when they realized they were $70 million Ontario lottery winners.

According to OLG, Marc and Dorothy-Ann Meilleur of Noëlville won the LOTTO MAX jackpot on February 26, but only believed they had a winning ticket after testing it and validating it nearly a dozen times.

“I started crying tears of joy,” said Dorothy-Ann, who called her daughter and texted her sons after the couple finally believed they'd won for real. She was so emotional that her daughter actually thought something bad happened at first.

The pair plan on buying a new house in the Sudbury area, donating to local charities, and going on a sightseeing tour of Canada.

"I’ve only seen it on TV," Marc Meilleur said, "and now me and my wife want to see all of Canada in person.”
