Stop What You're Doing — Someone In Ontario Won $65 Million Last Night

The winning lottery ticket was sold just outside of Toronto.

Contributor

One lucky individual is walking around with a $65 million winning lottery ticket in Ontario right now.

The Lotto Max ticket was sold somewhere in York Region on July 6, an OLG spokesperson has confirmed to Narcity.

Another prize worth $333,333 was also won in Simcoe County, a Maxmillion ticket split with two other winners in Canada. Three people in Wellington County, Perth County and Woodbridge also won $100,000 each.

Last month, a record-breaking Lotto Max jackpot was finally claimed by two separate winners, each of whom walked away with a cool $35 million.

An additional nine winners in Kingston, Windsor, Thunder Bay, St. Catharines, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Toronto and North York claimed $1 million each on the same night.

If you aren't a winner, there's always next time — the jackpot for this Friday's draw will be $21 million.
