You Can Have A Picnic At A Lavender Farm In Ontario & It’s The Dreamiest Spot For Lunch

Dine next to thousands of purple blossoms! 💜

Staff Writer

It's time to grab a blanket and pack a lunch, as you can have a picnic at this dreamy lavender farm in Ontario.

Purple Hill Lavender Farm is only one hour and 40 minutes from Toronto, and you can see approximately 9,000 lavender plants here.

What makes this spot unique is that you're allowed to lay your blanket on the grass overlooking the field of purple blooms and enjoy a pre-packed meal.

There won't be any food for sale on-site, so if you want to enjoy this incredible dining opportunity, you'll want to bring all your drinks and food with you.

While here, there is so much to see and do. In addition to having a picnic, you'll want to stop and smell the flowers, visit the gift shop, and explore the 2.5-kilometre loop hiking trail.

This year the farm is open Thursday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until September 5, and you'll need to pre-purchase your $15 admission ticket online.

Purple Hill Lavender Farm
