A Community In Northwest Territories Has Its Own Version Of The Hollywood Sign

The community of  Tsiigehtchic, Northwest Territories has its own version of the Hollywood Sign and it's so amazing.

This sign is located in the community of Tsiigehtchic which has a population of just under 200 people.

It has the same font and staggered lettering that the Hollywood sign does.

Also, you have to hike up to this unique towering sign just like you have to do in L.A.

Plus, it looks beautiful in any season whether it's covered by snow or surrounded by rich fall colours.

Tsiigehtchic is the ancestral territory of the Gwichya Gwich'in and was formerly known as Arctic Red River.

The community is located along the Dempster Highway and the Mackenzie River in the northern part of the territory.

Northwest Territories is also home to unique land formations called pingos and one of the tallest in the world is located north of Tsiigehtchic.
