Twitter's First Subscription Service Just Dropped & Canadians Can Get It Before Americans

You can finally edit your tweets, but there's a catch.

Twitter's First Subscription Service Just Dropped & Canadians Can Get It Before Americans

As of Thursday, June 3, people in Canada and Australia can officially access Twitter's first-ever subscription service: Twitter Blue. The platform costs $3.49 CAD per month and, according to Twitter, the new features are based on user feedback and requests that they've been hearing non-stop over the years.

With Twitter Blue, there is a new "undo tweet" feature. This allows users to set a timer of up to 30 seconds after they tweet so that they can undo or edit a tweet, reply or thread.

Basically, when you go to send a tweet, you hit "send" and will be given the option to "send now" or "undo" if you spot a mistake or have the all too familiar post-tweet regret.

There is also a new "reader mode" that intends to declutter your feed as you're scrolling. The subscription includes bookmark folders, as well, which " let you organize the Tweets you've saved by letting you manage content so when you need it, you can find it easily and efficiently."

"Subscribers will also get access to perks, such as customizable app icons for their device's home screen and fun color themes for their Twitter app, and will have access to dedicated subscription customer support," said Twitter in the announcement.

So, if you're willing to pay a monthly fee, your Twitter experience could look a little bit different starting today.
