Your next trip with BC Ferries could be getting a luxe upgrade this summer.

BC Ferries is set to elevate your travel experience this summer with the introduction of Seascapes Lounge, a new dining option designed for relaxation and comfort. Seascapes Lounge will be available on the Spirit of British Columbia and Spirit of Vancouver Island vessels, according to a press release.

For a $6 entry fee, passengers can access the lounge and enjoy unlimited coffee, tea, and fountain beverages. The lounge will also offer menus featuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner options crafted from fresh, high-quality ingredients. Additionally, a selection of local beer, wine, and non-alcoholic craft beverages will be available for purchase.

Melanie Lucia, Vice President of Customer Experience, stated that Seascapes Lounge aims to provide an "elevated dining experience" in a "quiet and comfortable setting," while also helping to reduce congestion in other dining areas.

Passengers travelling on these vessels will continue to have access to existing dining options, including the Coastal Café and Arbutus Coffee Bar. The Seascapes Lounge is expected to open ahead of the peak summer travel season, offering travellers a new way to enhance their ferry journey.
