Spring is in bloom, and one Canadian city beat out the rest, as the best place to enjoy the season. With sprawling fields of tulips a drive away and cherry blossoms filling the city streets with colour – it's not hard to see how it landed a spot on the list.

Travelbag crafted the list of the "world's prettiest destinations for spring 2025" and Vancouver came in at seventh place. The list was based on the analysis of Instagram hashtag data, and only one other Canadian spot made the list. Toronto was ranked as the 10th prettiest spring destinations in the world.

Vancouver was the top spot in the country though, and spring in the city doesn't disappoint.

Cherry Blossoms are a huge draw for visitors, since the city has its fair share of the beautiful pink blooms. There's even a map where you can see all of the spots around the city where they bloom.

Just roaming around the streets you're sure to get a great view of the spring blossoms, along with the classic mountain and ocean views the city is known for.

If you really want to take in the spring florals you can drive out to the farms in the Fraser Valley. Just outside of Vancouver you can see sprawling fields of tulips. You can wander through rows and rows of colourful flowers at spots like The Harrison Tulip Festival, which has 10 million tulips. It's about an hour and a half from the city, but well worth the journey.

Vancouver is full of spring beauty, so if you're looking for a getaway this season, you know where to go.
