It's something that you wouldn't think would even be up for debate, but where East Van is or what it stands for is dominating Twitter in B.C.

On Wednesday, July 22 "East Van" was trending and it's because everyone is chiming in with their thoughts, specifically about where it is or where it begins.

Whether you think it starts at Clark by the giant neon sign or it's anything east of Main Street, the whole city is divided.

It's not even just about geography, either — a lot of it is about culture.

Many Twitter users have explained emphatically that East Van and East Vancouver are not even the same thing which is bound to confuse anyone who's not from East Van.
