Whether you want to go to a popular night market with some friends, take your mom to a special event for Mother's Day or relax with a yoga class, you can enjoy all of that and more without spending any money.

Here are nine free things to do in Vancouver this weekend.

Shipyards Night Market

Cost: Free admission

When: Every Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting May 10 to September 13

Why You Should Go: The Shipyards Night Market is back starting on May 10 with many fun activities you can enjoy with friends or family.

The popular free night market features food trucks, a beer garden, crafts, vendors and live bands on Friday nights.

Playoffs in the Park

When: May 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Why You Should Go: Go cheer on the Vancouver Canucks as they take on the Edmonton Oilers for Game 3 this Sunday at a public viewing event in Oak Meadows Park.

The City of Vancouver is hosting a series of viewing events for the Stanley Cup Playoff games the Canucks are playing in, starting this weekend.

The viewing area will be set up in the north end of the park and there will be enough room for 2,000 people to bring a blanket and watch the game on a big screen.

Food Truck Festival Mother's Day edition

Why You Should Go: The Emily Carr University of Art and Design is hosting a hybrid exhibition featuring work by more than 300 graduates from its art, media and design programs.

You can walk around the exhibit and explore the work on display, including ceramics, photography, paintings, sculptures, animation and more.

Relax with a yoga class
