Vancouver's Nanaimo Ice Cream Bar The Size Of Your Head Is The Ultimate Canada Day Treat

July 1 never tasted this good.🤤
Staff Writer

One of our country's most iconic desserts, the Nanaimo bar, originated in B.C. province. But have you ever tried it frozen? If you are looking for a tasty way to celebrate July 1, 2020, you'll want to try this patriotic treat. Just in time for Canada Day, you can get Nanaimo ice cream bars the size of your head in Vancouver.

Mister told Narcity that for one week only they will be selling a Nanaimo ice cream sandwich. According to the company, they have always wanted to create their own twist on the Nanaimo bar.

The artisan dessert spot makes the most incredible liquid nitrogen ice cream treats. Compared to regular ice cream, it is creamier with a richer flavour.

While their other menu options are delicious, their new Canada Day special is a must-try.

The two exterior layers are a delightful blend of coconut, almond, and graham crackers. Inside you'll find a silky smooth vanilla custard ice cream that is just what you crave on a hot summer day.

Then, the decadent frozen dessert is also dipped into heavenly dark chocolate.

Once you try one, it will become your favourite way to eat this classic chocolate layered dessert. It is the perfect twist on the classic we all love.

For the size of the giant frosty sweet, it is remarkably affordable too. It is just $8 for a taste of summer.

This week, Mister also launched a brand new anniversary, Neapolitan ice cream sandwich. It has a layer of vanilla, strawberry and dark chocolate ice cream between a shortbread cookie crust.

It is time to make your Canada Day plans sweeter, but getting your hands on the new menu items.

We can't think of a better way to celebrate the holiday than cooling down with a frozen sweet with your friends.
