Lunch Lady

Address: 1046 Commercial Dr, Vancouver, BC

Why you need to go: It's gotten its praise (a spot on Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand list, just to name one), but let's give it some more, because it deserves it. Lunch Lady is a cozy and cool spot that has a well-priced menu and unbelievable food – a winning combination.

It's serving up Vietnamese Street Food, with dishes that highlight local ingredients and have an elevated spin, yet still retain a comforting feel.

There's wagyu beef noodle soup, char-grilled pork tomahawk, ube tiramisu — and the list of delicious-sounding flavours goes on, but you get the point.
