If you're on the hunt for the best restaurants in Vancouver, this one is a local favourite that was just named among the top spots to eat in the city. It's fine dining at its best without being stuffy, opting for a cozy interior and inviting aesthetic.

Everything from the service to the menu is top-notch, though, making it a go-to recommendation in Vancouver.

Narcity is always on a mission to find the best hidden gems and city faves, so we polled our readers to see what the local audience thinks are the best places to eat in Vancouver. AnnaLena earned a shout-out, and it's not hard to see why.

Nestled in the heart of Kitsilano, the restaurant is modern and stylish with a cool feel to it. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but it's not exactly a hidden gem. AnnaLena has gotten recognition after recognition, and even earned a Michelin star.

Hidden or not, though, it's still a must-visit in the city if you want a show-stopping meal. They offer a multi-course tasting menu for $154 per person, which is pricey, but it's impressive.

The menu changes based on the season and available produce, but right now they have a "2050" cheeseburger with wagyu tartare, a "seafood lottery," aged duck breast, and a slew of other delicious-sounding creations.

While a drink menu isn't on their website, the restaurant is also known for its cocktails and wine pairings.

If you're in the mood to splurge or are planning a West Coast visit and want to taste the best of the city, book that reservation!
