'Riverdale' Filming In Vancouver Reportedly Stopped Because COVID-19 Tests Take Too Long

And they're not the only show to stop.

Just as soon as the making of Riverdale started again in Vancouver, it seems to have been brought to a stop.

According to Variety, production on a number of CW shows is on pause.

Sources told them that they're halted because of "delays in processing COVID-19 tests."

Deadline also reported that multiple shows have been shut down because testing is taking too long.

It's not just Riverdale, it's also Batwoman, Charmed, Nancy Drew, and more.

The hit teen CW show suddenly halted production back in March due to the COVID-19 crisis.

The cast of the show recently returned to Vancouver near the end of the summer to begin filming again, but the show is now reportedly experiencing delays.
