The cast and crew of HBO's hit show The Last of Us were spotted filming in Vancouver this week.

A fan shared a video online of the crew filming in North Vancouver on Thursday evening and it comes amid news that four cast members have been added to the show.

On Thursday, a video was shared on the sub-Reddit thread r/ThelastofusHBOseries.

In the clip, there is a large group of people next to a building and trees filled with strings of lights on them. There are also several trucks parked nearby.

Another Reddit post from earlier this week says the scenes were shot in an old church and it was giving "serious Jackson dance scene vibes."

According to Hollywood North Buzz, the scene was shot in North Vancouver's Lynn Valley.

The website reported that earlier this week, production was also spotted shooting at another set outside of Kamloops.

In photos shared online, there is a building with a "Greenplace Market" sign.

A fandom wiki page says Greenplace Market is a "minor location" in the game The Last of Us Part II.

"It was formerly a supermarket located in Jackson County, and was later visited by Ellie and Dina on one of their routine patrols," the website reads.

On Friday, the show announced it had added four new cast members.

Top Gun: Maverick actor Danny Ramirez will play Manny, “a loyal soldier whose sunny outlook belies the pain of old wounds and a fear that he will fail his friends when they need him most," as reported by Variety.

Runaways actress Ariela Barer will play a young doctor named Mel.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Tati Gabrielle has joined the show as Nora, a military medic who struggles to "come to terms with the sins of her past," Variety says.

Riverdale actor Spencer Lord will play Owen who Variety describes as a "gentle soul trapped in a warrior's body."

The four new cast members will join Pedro Pascal who will return as Joel and Bella Ramsey who stars as Ellie.

Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, Kaitlyn Dever, and Schitt's Creek actress Catherine O'Hara are also part of the cast for Season 2.

Filming is scheduled to wrap up in August so hopefully, we'll be seeing a lot more cast sightings from now until then!

The Last of Us Season 2 will premiere on HBO sometime in 2025.
