A new 'tourism corridor' is coming to BC and it's the first one to cross into the US
The new corridor will be a journey through a stunning region.

Destination Canada has announced that B.C. is getting a new tourism corridor, and it's the first one of its kind. The tourism journey will cross the border, connecting the province with its neighbour, the United States.
Tourism corridors are aimed at creating new journeys for travellers, through connecting tourism organizations and encouraging tourism in Canada.
Destination Canada announced multiple new ones for 2024, stretching across Ontario and Quebec, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
While the other corridors connect Canadian regions, B.C. is getting paired up with Washington State, in the USA.
The new corridor will be the Juan de Fuca Corridor (British Columbia, Washington State, USA), and a partnership with the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER).
According to the press release, this will be the first one to cross into the US, "offering new opportunities to engage with Canada’s largest international market."
"The corridor program will invigorate the tourism landscape in the Capital Region District (CRD), Juan de Fuca Electoral areas, and First Nations communities between Beecher Bay and Port Renfrew on South Vancouver Island, as well as those between Port Angeles to Neah Bay, including Olympic National Park with connections to Seattle, enticing visitors to discover the area's diverse regions and contributing to a more dynamic and competitive tourism industry," the release said.
