This Small Town In BC Is Obsessed With Sasquatch & There Are So Many Sightings

Harrison's museum dedicated to big foot is hilarious!
Contributor

There's a place not too far from Vancouver where you can really get into the spirit of the locals and see Sasquatch in B.C., or at least try to!

Harrison is on the traditional territory of the Sts’Ailes people and even the word Sasquatch is an anglicized version of a Sts’Ailes word — Sa:squ’ets, and according to tradition he was a caretaker of the land.

Sasquatch is said to live in Mystery Valley, just North of Chehalis Lake...

Stephanie Gallamore, Tourism Harrison

They even have a tiny museum curated by "leading Sasquatch Researchers" where you can see castings of giant footprints, artifacts and more.

All around town, you'll see signs, statues and gifts for sale that all depict Big Foot. And if you come back at Christmas time, there's a Sasquatch-themed holiday light display to check out.

If you want to try and find a big hairy ape-like humanoid out in the woods yourself, there have been many sightings of him in Sasquatch Provincial Park.
