The RCMP detachment posted the hand-made card on Twitter, saying that they "don’t often get thank you cards from people who stay' with [them], but this was sure nice to see. 4.5 star rating to boot!"
The card read, "I was nervous about staying with you guys during my trip to the island, but I wanted to let you know that I appreciated how helpful and kind everyone was."
It concluded with a thank-you for care and kindness and a 4.5-star review.
According to CTV News, the card was from a woman who spent multiple nights in jail, though RCMP could not share why she was in custody.
The front of the card read "if, for some reason, our airplane was experiencing problems, I would help you with your oxygen mask before adjusting mine."
"And that's against sky code," said the inside of the card.
