Leave it to the True North to come through with some very cool products. This time, Canada is the parent of a virus detector, and the rest of the world can get their hands on it too.

In a press release Tuesday, the company, Kontrol Energy Corporation, said they are ready to ship their COVID-19 technology to customers around the world.

BioCloud is the sought-out "real-time" product made to detect airborne viruses like SARS-COV-2. It works by taking samples from the air to check the quality and can actually trigger a silent alert to people.

The company is apparently ready to rock and roll with contracted clients in North AmericaAustralia and New Zealand.

"The focus of our BioCloud technology is to help create safer spaces globally as we collectively continue to face the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic," CEO of Kontrol, Paul Ghezzi said.

"Initial deliveries are set to arrive to Kontrol customers and distributors in January 2021. Our team has been working around the clock to launch BioCloud into the global market."

The company also got more funding for their research that totals $500,000 from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
