It feels like so few things are worth getting off the couch lately, but Vallea Lumina is a Whistler light walk that takes you on a unique journey this winter that's worth seeing in real life.

If you've always been captivated by stories like Alice In Wonderland or Peter Pan, then you'll love this place because it feels a lot like you've just stepped into a Disney movie.

When you head up for a winter weekend in Whistler, this gentle walk through the forest that's been magically illuminated will be the ultimate escape.

On Friday, November 27 they will open for the season on weekends.

Then, on starting on Friday, December 18 they will be open each night.

This year, there will be fewer people allowed on the walk at once and you'll have to drive to the site yourself — in past years there have been shuttles that would take you there from the village.

Plus, they will be doing temperature checks and you'll have to wear your mask at the base of the walk, but not while you're wandering the forest path.

If you can't wait to immerse yourself into the world of snow-covered forests filled with light, then you can get your tickets ASAP.
