A BC fitness center is not shutting down after a member tested positive for COVID-19.

The unidentified person reportedly visited the GoodLife in Burnaby multiple times over the span of 12 days.

June 22 - July 3

The member visited between these days

Fraser Health has told GoodLife that since the person hasn't been to the centre since Friday, July 3, the doors to the gym can remain open.

The vice president of GoodLife has stated that they’re now following the guidance of local public health authorities.

The gym advises anyone who may have visited within the 12 days to self-monitor for symptoms.

Fraser Health has reportedly told the vice president that the risk of transmission at the gym is low.
